During our first session, I will assess your child with various skill specific assessments to find their magic middle. After getting to know them and understanding their learning style, I will create one-of-a-kind activities, lessons, and games that cater to what your child needs support in.

The Orton- Gillingham Approach: Orton-Gillingham is a highly structured approach that breaks reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds and then builds on these skills over time. It was the first approach to use explicit, direct, sequential, systematic, multi-sensory instruction to teach reading, which is effective for all students and essential for teaching students with dyslexia.
DIBELS® (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills): DIBELS is a set of procedures and measures for assessing the acquisition of literacy skills. They are designed to be short (one minute) fluency measures that can be used to regularly detect risk and monitor the development of early literacy and early reading skills in kindergarten through eighth grade.
